The Faeries of Carolyn Wood

Tucked into a lush valley of New England stood Carolyn Wood. a proud, thousand-year-old forest with trees who told endless tales of lore; love, loss, triumphs and the ways in which time moves on as life moves through us. The night felt long as the medley of red spruce, hemlock and maple trees swayed and creaked in rhythmic time. The trees were known to bow to a howling squall or a weeks long storm but in the absence of such, the faeries lay awake in their acorn beds as their homes rocked gently in the darkness. For hundreds of years, Carolyn Wood was their home, and they knew their land as an inherited instinct. But tonight, Something wrong. A mysterious curse was harming the trees and it was up to the faeries to lead the battle for Carolyn Wood, for they knew that all life is connected and if ruin befell upon their forest, it wouldn’t only be their precious home that would fall.
